  • Hold one rod at its center in your hand & rotate it by twisting your wrist Do the same with the second rod.
  • The rods have the same mass, but the placement of the mass is different for each rod.
    • One rod has most of its mass at the center, while the other has most of its mass at the ends
    • You need less effort to rotate the rod with the mass at the center
