Tips
  • Quick-start and detailed instructions are available in the included notebook.
  • The chamber requires about 1kg of ice per hour of operation. For long uses, make sure to always keep ice in the cooler to prevent damaging the heat exchanger.
  • Procedure:
    • 1)Adjust chamber liner so that LED lights are showing and it touches the bottom
    • 2) Pour 30-40mL of 91% isopropyl alcohol in the chamber and allow the liner to saturate. Use a pipette to speed up saturation
    • 3) Fill ice chest 1/2 full with ice and cover with water
    • 4) Place water pump in the ice chest and insure drainage tube is also in the ice chest
    • 5) Plug in the cart. LED lights should come on and the pump should start. Check drainage hose for water flow. If there is no water flowing you need to suck the end of the hose to start the flow
    • 6) The first tracks will appear in 15-30 minutes
    • 7) When finished remove all alcohol from the chamber and remove water from the ice chest and from the machine
  • If tubing ever cracks and needs to be replaced, use 1/4” ID (3/8” OD) latex hose.
