Prof. Ross’s Quantum Materials group in the Department of Physics at Colorado State University seeks applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in experimental condensed matter physics. The position will involve the development and commissioning of pulsed magnet technology for neutron scattering experiments at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, as well as the execution and analysis of novel neutron scattering experiments on quantum materials. Opportunities for gaining materials synthesis experience are also available if desired. This two year position will be based at Colorado State University, and will involve an extended stay (duration flexible) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN. The successful candidate must be eligible to gain access to export restricted projects.
