On Sunday, January 20th, the Madison Macdonald Observatory in partnership with the Little Shop of Physics (LSOP) held a very successful Lunar Eclipse Party. It’s estimated over 200 people attended. During the event, the main observatory was open, LSOP experiments were set up in the lobby of NESB, and three additional sidewalk telescopes were set up. In addition to the Moon, we observed Mars, the Orion Nebula, and the Pleiades star cluster.
