Josh Berger and Yulia Maximenko (both assistant professors) hosted a CSU Physics booth at that Conference for Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics which happened at CU Boulder for our local area. APS supports these conferences with multiple locations all over the country.

They were passing around flyers talking about our grad program, research areas, other professional development opportunities, and Little Shop of Physics and POWER+, the organizations relevant to the department. They also had an interactive set up with a large monitor to browse the CSU Physics website. Students who stopped by were from Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Utah, and they were all undergraduate students interested in getting their physics PhD. A few expressed great interest in applying to our program. Also, our congressman Joe Neguse stopped by to express support for the conference.
