The CSU NOvA and T2K groups led by Profs. Norm Buchanan and Walter Toki, respectively, have published their latest results in Physical Review Letters ( Phys. Rev. Lett. 118, 151802 (2017), Phys. Rev. Lett. 118, 151801 (2017) ). The NOvA paper describes the non-maximal mixing result that is in tension with other neutrino experiments, while the T2K result is their first combined neutrino-antineutrino oscillation analysis. The editors of Physical Review Letters have listed both publications as “suggested reading”. Both of the CSU neutrino groups are funded by the Department of Energy.

Contour of mass splitting vs sin^2(theta_32) for the NOvA experiment showing exclusion of maximal mixing to about 2.5 sigma.

Electron-like event imaged by the T2K far detector (SuperK) similar to events analyzed in the latest nu-anti-nu analysis.
