Kevin Smith    [ kevsmith@lamar.colostate.edu ]

Kevin Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 2000. He then earned a Master of Science degree from Colorado State University in 2003 in high energy physics. After earning his Master's degree, he changed his research focus to microwave magnetic materials and spin wave excitation and propagation. He is particularly interested in parametric interactions and other nonlinear phenomena.

On a personal note, he is interested in motorcycles and science fiction. He very much wants his parents to retire so they can join him in Colorado, hich he often refers to as "Eden," and escape the hot, humid summers and frigid winters of Massachusetts.
