Aaron Hagerstrom was born in Boulder, Colorado, in April 1987.
He enrolled in Colorado State University (CSU) in 2005. Currently, he is a junior at CSU,
double majoring in Physics and Computer Science. A couple of years ago, he figured out how
to write programs that made pretty pictures of fractals. This is still a hobby of his,
but his interests have been expanding into chaos theory and nonlinear dynamics.
Recently, he joined the CSU Magnetics Laboratory and started to study spin wave
chaos and solitons in magnetic film strip-based feedback rings.
He is very excited to have an opportunity to study these things
and to work with the other members in the Magnetics Laboratory.
