Jaydip Das
has obtained the Ph.D. degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB), in 2004.
His Ph.D. research constituted a thesis on "Impurity effects in the S=1 Haldane chain compound".
He was working on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), bulk susceptibility, and resistivity measurements
for characterizing various bulk antiferromagnetic systems.
In July 2004 he has joined Magnetics group at CSU as a post doctoral fellow.
Currently he is working on preparation of thin ferrite films using Pulse Laser Deposition
(PLD) and Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE) techniques and characterization of soft-magnetic Fe-Ti-N films.
