Keck Foundation grants CSU $1 million to make and measure nanoscale spin waves

The W.M. Keck foundation has awarded researchers in the Departments of Physics and Electrical and Computer Engineering 1 million dollars to study spin waves and develop a new, short-wavelength, tabletop X-ray microscope. Department faculty member Prof. Kristen Buchanan is the project PI along with Profs Jorge Rocca, Carmen Menoni, and Mario Marconi. Full story can be found in the Source.
