Colton Fruhling won one of the “highest honors” awards at the Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity event on April 15. His posters was entitled “Apparatus for the Study of Magnetic Materials in the Presence of an Out-of-Plane Field with Optical Access”. Colton has been working with Dr. Kristen Buchanan’s research group for the past year and presented his honors research projected work at CURC. There were four posters presented at the CURC event by Department of Physics undergraduates. The CURC event typically showcases the work of more than 600 undergraduate students done at Colorado State University.
